Anthony Burger

Anthony Burger was a piano virtuoso with an incomparable style of playing, who commanded a stage with his keyboard acrobatics. A much beloved member of the Gaither Homecoming Family for more than a decade, Anthony Burger was also a celebrated solo performer and recording artist.   Audiences around the world marveled at the skill he displayed on great old hymns and convention songs, but the child prodigy was equally at home playing big Broadway show tunes or classical compositions.

His untimely death in 2006 left a profound void. Anthony Burger Productions, in conjunction with Spring Hill Music Group, is releasing a new DVD, Gospel Overture, that captures the charisma and energy that helped make him a legend.

Phil Keaggy

On a Saturday evening in May of 2008, in the suburban community of Joppa, Maryland (just outside Baltimore) Phil Keaggy and a remarkable band of musicians presented The Master & The Musician 30 Years Later Tour.   It was the 17th performance since February of an instrumental work that Phil had composed 30 years ago, but had never staged with live musicians. This was to be one of their final performances.

The first part of this DVD is a performance of all of the songs from the album, with Phil backed by an amazing six piece band comprising of Tom Shinness, Bryan Lautenbach, Melissa Lautenbach, Joel Jimenez, Ric Hordinski (Over The Rhine), and John Sferra (Glass Harp). The second part features live performances of some of Phil’s classic songs.   Also on this DVD are special bonus features with performances from the other band members, and a special video montage made by Phil with some never before seen videos and photos.

Crown Video has been documenting the work of singer-songwriter Steve Bell for over a decade. We first captured Steve's award-winning musicality with a 1996 docu-music video featuring Steve as many love him best - on stage with just a guitar and his beloved audience. In 1999 we captured Steve on film during a now-renowned Canadian tour; that memorable event featured the spellbinding musicianship of violinist Hugh Marsh (Bruce Cockburn / Loreena McKennitt), bassist Fergus Marsh (Bruce Cockburn / Mark Heard) and the exceptional drumming of Greg Black.
