Staff Pick Reviews:"This cd showcases a new and refreshed sound of TFK. Songs like 'Absolute', 'Slow Bleed', 'The Art of Breaking' and 'Hand Grenade' make the album stellar. This is my pick for one of the best CDs of 2005."

"Toronto-based Thousand Foot Krutch released another great album in
The Art of Breaking. Combining with producer Arnold Lanni (Our Lady Peace, amongst others) and featuring Three Days Grace guitarist Adam Goutier. This allowed a more refined sound, but kept the focused lyrics and vocal style that TFK is known for. Thus,
The Art of Breaking is worth listening to."
