The Kingsmen Years

Many people knew Anthony Burger from his television appearances on the Gaither Homecoming Series. But those of us who were long-time fans of Anthony remember his wonderful career with the legendary Kingsmen Quartet from Asheville, North Carolina.

Anthony became the pianist for the Kingsmen in 1978, and through those years with the group, became Southern Gospel’s most popular pianist.

During The Kingsmen Years, Anthony recorded several piano recordings, most of which have been out-of-print for several years. Since his untimely death in 2006, many of Anthony’s fans have requested the re-release of some of those wonderful piano renditions. So, as a tribute to a man who contributed so much to our lives through his incredible talent, Horizon Records is proud to present this collection of Anthony Burger - The Kingsmen Years.
