Donald Miller brilliantly weaves a very earthy and spiritual existance with his Christian faith headlong into the "everyday-ness" of our lives. With issues around deep longings, primal urges, and unmet desires, he writes with an honesty and lack of religiosity that speaks powerfully to both the doubter and the faithful. But keep in mind, honesty is sometimes messy, and because of that, this book is not for everyone. Notwithstanding that, it's an engaging read that's intensely amusing, profound and thought provoking.
