Vince Mulville and Kieran Walls of Abbotsford, BC began their friendship in the eighth grade, but it wasn't until the year 2003 where the duo formed the electronica group The Purple Razors. From here on, the group developed skills with electronic musical computer programs designed to produce artificially generated sound, using techniques such as sampling and phase distortion. Throughout the next 2 years, The Purple Razors composed numerous songs and gained knowledge in music creation.

December 29th, 2005 brought the release of Ecosystematic, a short demo album. In early January 2006, The Purple Razors were asked to be featured on TEA Souths Volume 7 compilation album, which was released June 12th 2006. The Purple Razors have just now released their official debut album.

Vince and Kieran consider their music to be a reflection of their greatest influence: The forests of Chadsey Lake.  The two both intend to continue producing electronic music well into the future…
