This Canadian band of zealous goal driven lads have been stirring up a new flavor in their studio located in the heart of Abbotsford, B.C, determined to take Christian music to a whole new level. With passion as their fuel and people as their focus, they believe there is nothing stopping them from reaching out and doing their part to see this world come closer to the reality of the living God. They are real people with a heart for people who are struggling in this life. But they also believe that this life was meant to be enjoyed and lived to the fullest.

CD Release Concert

John McLoughlin was born in Vancouver in 1962, and has lived his life throughout BC – a true Canadian West-coaster. His song writing is reflective of a long and varied experience with music. Early live music influences include the Catholic Church folk style of the 1960’s, his mom playing boogie woogie on the piano, and dad singing British bar room songs. Later influences include country music and bluegrass.

When he became a born-again Christian a whole new experience of devotional music followed. His songwriting is mostly a reflection of his knowledge of a real living God.  As well as performing throughout the Fraser Valley, John McLoughlin also runs the Monday Night Jam at Legal Grounds Coffeehouse and is well known for his enthusiastic support and participation in the local music scene. John has released two CD’s locally and will release his third album at a CD release show at the House of James on March 27th. John will perform music from the album “John Mcloughlin & More Friends” accompanied by the musicians that collaborated with him on the recording.

"Abel formed in the fall of 2007, emerging from connections that brought together a group of young people from Surrey and White Rock. The band takes its name from the well-known Bible story of Adam and Eve's children. Just as the Abel we read about brought forth a bountiful sacrifice, acceptable and pleasing to God, this band seeks to put a smile on the face of the Creator through their offering.
 
Making use of multiple styles and musical genres, Abel explodes with energy and enthusiasm as they glorify the God that gifted them! Influenced by jazz, blues, rock, gospel, reggae, hip hop, and modern worship, this group is determined to bring forward a fresh sound and make their mark for the importance of unique musical flavor - the calling out to diversify and break down barriers that hold back the Church from offering a sacrifice from the heart.

Andrew's live show combines his award winning talent as a SINGER/SONGWRITER and INSTRUMENTALIST. He has been playing folk clubs, festivals and house concerts in Canada, the USA and Europe to enthusiastic audiences. Andrew has shared the stage with Bruce Cockburn, Ruthie Foster, Gordie Sampson, Martyn Joseph and David Wilcox. In 2007 Andrew Smith played at the INTERNATIONAL GUITAR FESTIVAL in Dresden Germany (to rave reviews). The festival featured a dozen great guitar players from around the world including Peter Finger and Frank Haunschild. He also travelled to Africa with a film crew - commissioned to write and record a tap style instrumental piece for the documentary film 'An Orphan's Dream'.
