World renowned UK Vibraphonist Marty Franklin and friends will present an entertaning evening of jazz standards. Now living in Abbotsford, Marty has lived in England, Toronto, Halifax and Montreal playing in many major jazz clubs and with many jazz greats including Maynard Ferguson, Sonny Stitt, Georgie Auld, Bud Freeman and Henry Cuesta. Marty's current CD is a mixture of American Song Book standards, blues and latin jazz. This will be a memorable night.

Husband and wife duo from Winkler, Manitoba bring their acoustic guitar based country, folk music to the House of James stage.
Kyle Church is an emerging singer songwriter and musician from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Influenced by writers like Jon Foreman, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Drew Holcomb; Kyle is marked with a passion for telling the truth and finding the beauty woven into every person’s story. Kyle’s laid back personality translates smoothly to the “easy listening” nature of his music, and his storytelling at live shows is usually equally as light and humorous as it is deep and thought-provoking.

‘Doctor Bones’ is a Greater Victoria, BC band playing a unique blend of blues, rock, gospel, roots, and Americana music. The band was formed in 2007 and found a niche playing to Victoria’s homeless and marginalized. This initial work (and the band) has evolved and now its music also encourages and entertains at Vancouver Island and Lower Mainland fairs, festivals, summer markets, fundraisers, prisons, music clubs and bars.

Danny Brooks has long been referred to as ‘The Real Deal’ and after years of honing his writing and performing skills in Canada, picking up nominations and awards along the way, Brooks is at home in the Texas music scene and traveling throughout the USA.
Mixing Southern Soul, Americana, Blues and Gospel, he is recognized as a prolific writer and dynamic live performer, and is constantly on the road. Making Llano Texas his home (just west of Austin), 'Texassippi Soul Man' Danny Brooks & Lil Miss Debi released their second ‘Texas’ studio recording ‘This World Is Not Your Friend’, in January of 2015. The upcoming CD "Get Your Joy On" will be much like the previous CD with a ‘stripped down’ approach.
Brooks' music features the duo he has with his wife Lil Miss Debi who sings and plays cajon/percussion while he plays assorted guitars/slide/cigar-box/stomp-board and harp-rack.
